Azealia Banks Posts Apology to Elon Musk: 'I Feel Terrible About Everything'

"This is a strange situation to be in, and I’m not sure how to begin this letter," Banks wrote. "I guess I could start off by apologizing for all of the painful events you’ve endured over the past week, as I feel as though my actions have largely exacerbated them."

Another plotline in a summer that includes the Nicki Minaj drama and Doja Cat’s cow-themed anthem is the dramatic saga between Azealia Banks and Elon Musk, whose names one wouldn’t consider putting into the same sentence until just weeks ago.

But after calling Musk a “trash ass beta male pig” as she wandered around his home for days and claimed his lawyer blackmailed her into giving up her phone, Banks is making a surprising move by...apologizing. Despite all her rants against the Tesla founder, she’s decided to own up to any trouble she might have caused him during this whole charade.

“I feel terrible about everything,” she wrote. “I guess I could start off by apologizing for all of the painful events you’ve endured over the past week, as I feel as though my actions have largely exacerbated them.”

To recap, Azealia Banks went over to Musk’s house to collaborate with Grimes on her forthcoming album. Grimes, per Banks, was too busy tending to her drugged-up boyfriend stressing out over taking Tesla private, that no collab went down and hospitality was atrocious. In the course of her stay, however, she learned a lot of personal information about Musk, who first claimed he had no idea who Banks was, but later admitted to seeing her in his house. Now it appears Musk’s people want to keep everything the rapper knows about the billionaire tech dude under wraps by confiscating her phone.

Banks posted this new letter to her Instagram story, then promptly asked for her phone back. She also used her account to praise Musk for his decision to keep Tesla public and took credit for impacting this monumental business decision.

Sure things started off on the wrong foot and Banks called Musk’s girlfriend Grimes a “dirty-sneaker-inbred-out of the woods-Pabst beer pussy methhead-junkie,” but the letter shows that she’s apparently ready to move on. The planned collab between Grimes and the “Anna Wintour” rapper that started all this may never happen, though the two keep texting like BFFs from summer camp.

“If you are up for it, I’d like to meet you in person to properly and formally introduce myself to you,” she wrote. “After all, we are now the co-stars of pop culture’s latest fan-fiction 😉.”
