Back in 2016, PREP dropped their debut EP in Futures, which received airplay on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Beats 1, while amassing over 7 million streams in the process. Their second EP, Cold Fire, due to be released in April, includes guest spots from the likes of Anderson .Paak, producer Pomo and new Kitsuné signing Reeva DeVito, among others.
Now the band are back with the EP's first single, "Don't Bring Me Down", premiering exclusively on Complex. Branching out from the woozier cuts of the first project, the track incorporates high-tempo production and hand claps, bringing an altogether more upbeat vibe to the table, possibly showcasing what we can expect from the full four-track project when it's released in April this year.
