Ahead of the release of his debut album, The Return, Kamaal Williams is sharing new track "High Roller". The album, as a whole, blends the influence of visionary jazz with experiences, sounds and feelings only gained through life living in London. It displays a musician honing his craft through his progressive, funky, exploratory yet effortlessly musical means, as he flits from the classic '70s keyboard work similar to that of Lonnie Liston Smith or Roy Ayers, to more hip-hop-leaning arrangements—all within the field of jazz. "High Roller" encompasses these different moods, refining Kamaal's sound in the process into what is sure to be his most evolved body of work to date.
The Return is out on May 25 via Black Focus Records.
