John Legend, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled and More, Mourn Death of Soul Legend Betty Wright

Many notable figures in the music community paid their respects after the legendary soul singer succumbed to her battle with cancer, TMZ reports.

Celebrities are paying their respects after the tragic loss of iconic soul and R&B singer Betty Wright. She was 66.

Wright died on Sunday from cancer in her hometown of MiamiTMZ reports. According to the outlet, she had just been diagnosed in the fall. Wright is known for a number of classic hits, including “Tonight is the Night” and “Clean Up Woman." In 1975, she took home a Grammy for her song “Where is the Love.”

Musicians like John Legend, Chuck D, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled, and more, took to social media to pay their respects.
