Widely regarded as one of the most respected execs in the UK music industry, Austin Daboh is making the next move in his career as he leaves Apple Music to become the new Executive Vice President at Atlantic Records UK, Music Business Worldwidereports.

Daboh added to his impressive arsenal of experience during his seven-month stretch at Apple Music as Head of Editorial for the UK & Ireland. During this time, he was responsible for the platform's entire UK-based editorial and playlist ecosystem.

Daboh joins the Warner family as one of the first flagship hires at Warner Music UK under its new Chairman & CEO, Tony Harlow, who took his new position in February.

Before his position at Apple, Daboh held the esteemed role of Head of Music Culture and Editorial at Spotify UK, where he spent three years in the position and launched the very popular Who We Be playlist and live events, among other things.

This has been deemed as a big move for Atlantic, with Daboh joining the label's recently appointed co-presidents, Briony Turner and Ed Howard.

We wish Austin the best of luck in his latest venture.
