This past week as been full of ups and downs for Megan Thee Stallion.
At the top of the month, she accused her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, of trying to block her music after she raised issues about her contract. Meg filed a subsequent lawsuit against the imprint and its founder—former MLB star Carl Crawford—seeking at least $1 million in damages as well as the termination of her contract.
"I mean my issue is not with money, I just want what's fair," she said during a Hot97 interview last week. "I want the proper agreement. I don't want to be treated like an object, I don't want to be treated like a slave. I want to be treated as a human being and... What's right is right and what's fair is fair."
But in the midst of all her legal drama, Meg came through big-time for the Hotties. Last Friday, she released her much-anticipated project Suga, which is on track to debut within the Billboard 200 top 5.
Meg spoke about the project—and much more—during her live CRWN interview with Tidal's Elliott Wilson. You can watch the sit-down via Tidal above.
