With half a dozen singles now under his belt, Paris-based singer and rapper Hendrix Harris has just revealed his latest single, "Should I".

Taking influence from his of love of Cuban culture — a passion nurtured by annual trips to Havana to collaborate with local artists like soul singer Cimafunk and rapper Barbaro el Urbano Vargas — Harris blends funk, soul and hip-hop into a mercurial, constantly-shifting mix that intoxicates as much as it soothes. Latin rhythms bubble away beneath the track, gently pushing his smokey vocals forward as they swoop and soar to reveal an impressive range.

Although details remain scarce, word has it that "Should I" will appear on Harris' upcoming, as-yet-untitled debut EP, which is due later this year.
