After a year or so since the release of their last single, "Song For The Broken Hearted (Rollin)", Berlin-based duo Evvol, aka Julie Chance and Jane Arnison, are back with "It's OK" as well as news of the arrival of their second album The Power.

Their year away from music wasn't a wasted one. Besides working on the album, Arnison and Chance have been using the time to reflect on the world and the political hellscape we find ourselves in. That, we're told, has all been poured into the album and lead single "It's OK" suggests that the results will be a more contemplative, almost philosophical collection of tracks that aim to nourish and invigorate the soul.

That comes through in the visuals Chance directed the track. Conflict, as you might expect, is the focus of the track, as well as how quickly things can escalate. However, without spoiling anything, keep watching until the very end because the resolution that comes isn't one you'd necessarily expect.

The Power drops May 8 via !K7 Records.
