Alicia Keys has shared another taste of her long-awaited seventh studio album.

On Thursday morning, the singer-songwriter released the official video for her new single "Underdog," which will appear on ALICIA. Directed by Wendy Morgan, the visual focuses on everyday people who spend their days hustling in pursuit of a better life.

"I love this song. To be an underdog is to defy the odds! To prove to those who think you won’t make it wrong. Every day, waking up and choosing to keep going is a win. A small triumph that really matters," Keys told Complex about the record. "I love that the song is the story of so many unsung heroes. I was raised by a single mother. She is a champion, she is my inspiration. They said I would never make it but I was built to break the mold."

"Underdog" is the latest single off ALICIA, following "Time Machine" and "Show Me Love" featuring Miguel. Keys has yet to announce the project's official release date, but it is slated to drop this spring. Of the track's relationship to the album, she told us, "I’m at a place in my life where I’m loving and accepting all the different facets of who I am. In the past I’ve only known certain sides of myself but now I realize that I’m ready to be more in touch with all the sides within. With my album ALICIA, I’m unfiltered. I’m sharing all of who I am and how I feel. I never could’ve titled an album Alicia before. I’m closer to myself then I’ve ever been."

You can stream "Underdog" now on major platforms and watch its official video above.

Alicia Keys is gearing up to host the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards for the second year in a row. The ceremony will air live Jan. 26 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It was announced on Thursday she will participate in a Grammys-hosted Prince tribute concert two days after the ceremony. John Legend, Usher, H.E.R., Chris Martin, and more will perform alongside Prince's percussionist Sheila E.
