Roc Marciano has unleashed his latest studio album Marcielago. Releasing it exclusively on his website, the rapper took a page from Nipsey Hussle's book and is charging fans a little extra for the project at $30. "Marcielago is available exclusively as a digital download from RocMarci.com until (and if) Roc makes it available in other formats," he revealed on Instagram.
The Long Island artist and producer takes it back to basics on the record, delivering meticulous verses over vintage-sounding beats. The album features production from Roc as well as Alchemist and AniMoss. Westside Gunn, KA, Willie Da Kid, and more make guest appearances.
To coincide with the release, Roc Marciano has also dropped the video for immediate highlight "Richard Gear." Featuring Roc in a parking garage showing off his Ferrari, the focus is all on the rapper himself. As something of a commercial for the Marcielago project, the visual is just as stripped-back as the production.
Watch the video for "Richard Gear" above, and expect to potentially see Marcielago hit streaming services following its release on Roc's official site.
