Back in May, UK soul queen Terri Walker released the Breakout EP, a nine-track release presented by Joe Buhdha that united Walker's passion for classic soul, reggae, hip-hop and classic R&B in one tight, cohesive package.
Now, following "OK" and the Rodney P-assisted "Breakout", she's back with the third single from the project: the rap version of "Can't Tell Me Anything" with Children Of Zeus.
In the video, shot and directed by Ernest Simons, we see Terri belting out her room-filling vocals over a vibrant live band and a bouncy boom-bap beat. Tyler Daley and Konny Kon then step in with their own verses — adding a relaxed counterpoint to Walker's powerful and impassioned voice.
