Italian-born pair M w S recently upped sticks to the UK and the move seems to have given them a renewed creative vigour because the months following that period have rewarded fans with an almost continuous stream of new music. Their latest offering is "Positive", a seductive and soulful new cut that builds on the soul, jazz and R&B formula that they've been having so much fun with lately.

Opening with a haunting, almost gothic vocal turn from singer Giulia Magnani, "Positive" then gradually unfolds into something much lighter and uplifting. The gloomy drums and cavernous open spaces are replaced with gently brushtrokes of colour and sweet, delicate melodies as producer Francesco Drovandi's shimmering guitar lick guides the mood in the right direction.

"Positive" is taken from their upcoming new EP, Grow, which drops October 11. Pre-order it here. You can catch M w S at the EP launch at The Waiting Room on November 26.
