Snoop Dogg was in rare form for a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid, resulting in a lively and multi-faceted discussion spanning everything from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame chances to the general idiocy of some guy named Donald Trump.

After some intro comments on his recent awarding of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Snoop briefly addressed his arguably imminent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

"I'm coming up soon," he said. "Could be, could be. Maybe. I wanna be in the hip-hop hall of fame, though. They got one of those?"

At around the 3:30 mark in the video up top, the conversation turned to matters of politics. Asked about his admirably outspoken approach to highlighting a variety of issues in recent years, Snoop thankfully expressed zero regret about what he's chosen to use his platform for during the Trump era.

"I could give a fuck," he said. "I'm not a politician. I ain't running for shit and I ain't running from nobody so I can say what I wanna say. Sometimes I feel like I have to speak for the people who are voiceless, who don't have a voice, so I become political. If I see a lot of shit going on I'll be like, man fuck that."

Speaking specifically on Trump, Snoop noted the ridiculousness of his presence in the White House when responding to a suggestion that he himself should run for the office.

"Fuck that president shit," he said. "This n**** Donald Trump done fucked it up. I don't know what a president supposed to be now. He done fucked the whole criteria up . . . If he gon' be as white as he is, I'm gon' be as n**** as I am. Fuck it."

Snoop added that he would rightfully be into the idea of letting anyone who was in jail for selling weed or drugs out.

"Every white motherfucker that ever did a n**** wrong, get in jail," he said. "We reversing this shit now . . . All the Mexicans, Muslims, Asians, y'all cool. Come over here. If I didn't call your race, you in trouble."

Snoop also criticized Trump's tragedy response approach, an approach which is—of course—objectively garbage:

This n**** showing up to tragedies giving thumbs up and shit. Like, what kinda n**** is this?

During the chat, Snoop was asked if he ever got a call or text from Trump or his administration. He says he did and it was them expressing their dissatisfaction with the video for his BADBADNOTGOOD collab "Lavender." The video featured a clown version of Trump getting shot. Trump even sent out a tweet about it all.

Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!

In the interview's final moments, the topic shifted to an apparent Dr. Dre rumor about Snoop being given half a billion dollars "just for fun." Snoop promptly shut this down, explaining that their relationship doesn't revolve around financial matters at all.

"Dre ain't never gave me no half of nothing," he said, laughing. "We're not money driven. I've never asked Dre for money, he's never asked me for money."
