Kembe X is back with an infectious new single, which touches upon serious subject matter like mental health while he maintains a spring in his step. "Voices," the first single from his upcoming project I Was Depressed Until I Made This, is accompanied by a video that sees him joyously walking around a liquor store one moment and then robbing it the next.
"With 'Voices' I wanted to make a song that feel light-hearted, but actually touches on something real and personal," he explained to Complex. "It’s the backbone of the project in a way." Upon revealing the news of his album, Kembe tweeted last week, "My album excellent."
