Rick Ross has been on a press run as he gears up to drop his highly-anticipated new album, Port of Miami 2. He's teased getting Lil Wayne and Pusha-T on a track together despite their differences, and he also recently took a shot at 50 Cent. But in his new interview with Nick Cannon on Power 106 Los Angeles, he focused on the music, teasing Port of Miami 2 and listing his top five favorite rappers.

"I'ma start with B.I.G., he was special," he told cannon at the 11:25 mark of the video above. "He was so effortless, and then I jump to the west side and say Ice Cube. Anybody that don't consider Cube, they don't really count. They can't sit at the table." He continued, "I must say Scarface." For his last two he chose one duo, and a pair of late rappers. "8ball and MJG, I'ma put them as one," he explained. "Right now I'm balancing Nipsey and 2Pac," he said of his final choice, choosing not to settle on just one.

In 2011, Rozay was asked who his favorite rappers currently working at the time were, and offered different list. He chose Styles P, Stalley, Gunplay, Meek Mill, and Wale, all of which were signed to Maybach Music Group at the time, not including Styles P. He also gave a special shout-out to Drake, Wiz Khalifa, JAY-Z, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. A year before, in 2010, he named both Biggie and Ice Cube among his favorites, while also listing Big Daddy Kane, JAY-Z, and a tie between Lil Wayne and Birdman.
