Cashmere Cat has announced his sophomore album, Princess Catgirl, which will serve as the follow-up to his star-studded 2017 debut release 9.
The title of the project also doubles as the name of the Norwegian producer/DJ's new companion. "She's very cute and powerful," he said. "I've always been shy—since the beginning of being an artist I would hide my face, not want to do interviews, hide behind other artists. I guess you could say I was scared. So I created Princess Catgirl to be the face of my music. She makes me feel safe."
Princess Catgirl takes center stage in the video for Cashmere Cat's new single, "Emotions," which is directed by Jake Schreier and features actress Margaret Qualley playing the role of Catgirl with motion capture grace.
