Big Sean returned recently with his self-love anthem "Single Again," ahead of his highly anticipated new album Don Life. He followed up the release with a video which saw him put on trial for supposedly cheating, depicting a world where it's a crime. Now he's stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a performance that sees him trying speed dating in front of a huge ticking clock.
While it's not an indication on when we might expect to see Don Life, the push for "Single Again" might indicate that Sean is in full album mode. From the sounds of a recent interview with Zane Lowe, day-one fans will find a lot to love about the project. "I just been returning to my roots, bro," Sean said. "I’ve just been getting back to having fun with it. At one point, I felt like it might have started to become like a burden, or like work, but now it’s just fun. So this is just me having fun bro, expressing myself. It was a time well spent."
Lena Waithe recently revealed that Sean will be making his acting debut in her upcoming BET comedy series Twenties, so there's no shortage of projects for Sean to keep busy with. "She’s amazing for giving me my first chance to act and not playing myself, but actually playing a character," Sean said of Waithe. "It’s something I take seriously."
