Last year, a video surfaced of XO Records rapper Belly getting punched by security as he attempted to get backstage at Coachella. He later addressed the incident, tweeting, "20 of you pussies couldn't take me off my feet." Now TMZ reports that Belly is suing Coachella, blaming the festival for an attack that saw around 25 security guards attack him as he watched his friend and collaborator the Weeknd perform on the main stage.

In the legal documents that have surfaced, Belly said he was headed into the backstage VIP area when he was attacked by security. He had performed at Coachella earlier that day and had the VIP credentials to get to those areas. He claimed that the security grabbed, punched, kicked, and choked him during the attack, which was caught on video.

Belly has hired attorney Ben Meiselas to represent him in the case. He added that the attack left him with numerous bruises and a concussion. As a result of their beating, he is suing the organizers behind Coachella and the security firm responsible, citing permanent physical and mental trauma. It was not specified how much money he's looking for, but it's likely to be a pretty big number.

Belly last dropped a project in October last year with his Immigrant album, which featured appearances from the likes of Meek Mill and Nav.
