Having cut his teeth producing for titans like Future, Nikki Minaj, Akon and Waka Flocka, Atlanta-born Niko The Kid has spent the last few years focusing on his own music. The latest track to emerge is "Away", a super summery collaboration with Manchester's Bipolar Sunshine. The colourful optimism he brought to those rap productions and remixes still sits right at the forefront, but is cleverly balanced against Bipolar Sunshine's gentle, soulful vocals, leaving the Mancunian plenty of space to spread his wings. Marrying pop sensibilities with a dancefloor-ready production, Niko's genre-blurring approach and Bipolar Sunshine's soft and soulful vocals could well land them both in the charts.
