Though she’s kept a low profile over the past year, Kamaiyah has been hard at work in the studio cooking up new material. Today, the Oakland-bred rapper is providing a taste of what she has in store.

Kamaiyah returned with the Tyga- and Quavo-assisted cut “Windows,” which will appear on her forthcoming project. She announced the release earlier this week with a snippet and cover art.

“The wait is about to be over,” she wrote on Instagram. “I've been sitting on some good music for way too long and trust me when I say it's happening now.”

Kamaiyah confirmed “Windows” is the lead single off her much-anticipated project, which will serve as the follow-up to her 2017 mixtape Before I Wake.
