Already an accomplished songwriter—thanks to his work on hits like "All We Know" by The Chainsmokers and "I Wanna Know" by NOTD and Bea Miller—Stockholm-born Shy Nodi is getting set for the release of his own solo single, "Snakes", an R&B-tinged pop number with one foot in the club.

He first kicked off his solo career with the critically-acclaimed "Complex" last year, and since then has put out a steady stream of infectious singles. "Snakes" builds on the sounds we've already heard from Nodi, blending chart-friendly songwriting with tinges of R&B and some upbeat electronics to keep us on the dancefloor.

Speaking with Complex via email, Shy told us: "I've always had a fault in that I trust people far too easily. It's not really a problem, until you meet someone who decides to take advantage of that quality. I think it can be applied to all types of relationships, whether it's someone you love, or simply someone you consider a friend."
