Temporarily stepping away from his work as one half of Australian electronic-soul duo Kllo, producer Simon Lam is returning to his Nearly Oratorio alias to unveil the mesmerising visuals for his new single "Down To The Minute". Over a twinkling instrumental, Lam unfurls his pain-filled vocals while surreal, almost psychedelic shots of jellyfish pulse and shrink across the screen. The video's hypnotic quality plunges the listener into a trance-like state as Lam's lyrics suck you in without letting go. Musically, there's a more pronounced influence of R&B and trap in the mix, compared to his work in Kllo, but it's knack for songwriting that's still the star of the show here.

Speaking with Complex via email, Lam told us: "['Down To The Minute' is about] taking yourself out of the equation as a means for others to progress forward, and not caring about what it means for you."
