Ascending London-based rapper Barny Fletcher has just released his new seven-track mixtape, CANVAS2033, and to celebrate he's just revealed the visuals for one of the project's singles, the DJ Shadow-produced "Found It". A coming-of-age story of sorts, "Found It" is an anthem to celebrate that feeling when you finally figure out what you're good at and what you want to do in life. It can take a while to hit that stride, and some never do, but it's an unbeatable feeling when it happens. Bringing that sentiment to life, the Robin Fraser-directed visuals follow Fletcher — who is clearly on top of the world — as he unravels his galloping, double-time rhymes flow over Shadow's skippy, funk-tinged production.
Speaking with Complex via email, Fletcher told us: "Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to do. Some people find it when they're young, and some people never find it. 'Found It' is about realizing what you're good at and just fuckin' running with it."
