Tyga Comes Through With New Song and Video for "Goddamn"

"Goddamn" is next up on Tyga's 2019 agenda.

The aptly named new song, complete with the sort of memorable hook we've come to expect, dropped Monday via Tyga's own Last Kings Music. Check out the video up top. "Goddamn," the title of which I enjoy typing out very much, is also available on Apple Music, Tidal, and other streaming providers.

The "Goddamn" drop follows the recent releases of Tyga's "Wow" remix, "Thotiana" freestyle, "Girls Have Fun" video, Ally Brooke collab "Low Key," and more. Last February's Kyoto stands as Tyga's most recent studio album, though the discography is expected to be beefened up with a new project at some point this year.

Reflecting on the thematic and sonic glue that's bound his recent singles together in an October interview with Billboard, Tyga explained that he's learned what the music world needs from him most. "There's too much going on in the world, and life is too short," he said. "Everybody has to have fun, and I'mma supply that background music for you." Moving forward, a possible Soulja Boy collab—at least according to Soulja Boy—isn't entirely out of the question.

Tyga was also notably among the artists who shared public support for Lil Nas X amid that whole country genre distinction drama last month, sharing an inspired horse-assisted Instagram clip in which he donned his cowboy best:
