It's CrasH Talk eve.

Among Schoolboy Q's stops on his album promo tour was Big Boy's Real 92.3 studio, where he joined the host for a 48-minute chat on the new songs and the real-life changes that inspired them. About 11 minutes into the chat, Q and Big Boy also discussed Nipsey Hussle, whose recent death previously inspired Q to delay the album's release.

"I was a little offended when [Mac Miller] died and mad people were, like, reaching out and doing all this Mac stuff," Q said, comparing some of the responses to what he noticed upon his friend Mac Miller's death in 2018. "I have a lot of respect for Nipsey and their people so it's, like, let them grieve. And I feel like everybody's trying to make it about them."

Later, Q was asked how the team of collaborators he's assembled this go-around came together. Speaking specifically on Kid Cudi, who appears on the DJ Dahi-produced "Dangerous," Q detailed how Cudi's legacy has personally affected him.

"He's all our fathers," he said about 29 minutes in. "Kid Cudi is, like, he broke the barrier for weird people like me . . . I think Kid Cudi broke those barriers of being yourself." See the full interview up top.

CrasH Talk, also featuring the single "Chopstix" with Travis Scott, drops Friday.
