After his debut mixtape, Everything Pretty flew to the No. 1 spot on iTunes, Nigerian star-in-the-making Prettyboy D-O is back with the intense, eye-popping visuals for one of the project's key singles, "Pull Up", which features one of the leaders of the growing Alte (alternative) movement in Nigeria: Santi.
As with much of Everything Pretty, "Pull Up" is a high energy and wholly unique take on the various sounds emanating out of Nigeria and West Africa right now. Matching the intensity of Prettyboy's highly distinctive vocals, the Ademola Falomo-directed video follows Prettyboy and co. in a dimly-lit, smoke-filled setting before heading out on the road to capture scenes that are both intimidating and yet stunning in equal measure.
In fact, just like the vocals, the video is so intense it borders on overwhelming—you have been warned!
