Premiere: Berlin-Based Indie Duo Lea Porcelain Offer A Message Of Reassurance On "I Am OK"

It's not all doom and gloom.

Berlin-based duo Lea Porcelain, aka producer Julien Bracht and vocalist Markus Nikolaus, recently released their new single "I Am OK", an ultra moody slice of post punk built around Nikolaus' haunting vocals and Bracht's bleak production techniques. It's not all doom and gloom though; the cavernous soundscape is peppered with ukelele plucks that pierce the song with just a hint of colour and remind us, as the pair explain below, that everything will be okay in the end.

Speaking with Complex via email, they told us: "We felt that New York was the perfect city to describe what we were feeling in this song. It was a moment of losing and finding yourself again. Never hide from who you are. And it's ok to feel lost sometimes, you just have to pick yourself up again and know your path. This comes straight from the heart. Know you're alright!"
