Besides being a house music veteran of 20 plus years and a hero in the Netherlands' vibrant rave scene, what DJ and producer Mason is also known for is his tendency towards unexpected collaborations. Over the years he's worked with the likes of Jocelyn Brown, The Manor, Stefflon Don, Princess Superstar and Róisín Murphy.

The latest vocalist to be tapped up by Mason is Shingai of the Noisettes fame who stepped up to lace his new single "Bang Bang" with some disarmingly infectious vocals. If you were a fan of the band's knack for creating maddeningly catchy hooks, you'll soon be satisfied by this one. It's still an all-out house thumper with a sturdy rhythm and plenty of energy and charm, but Shingai's singing and the way Mason weaves them seamlessly into the production elevate the track above and beyond the dancefloor.
