"It captures the naivety of being young on the run from reality, depending and completely relying on someone who can't be trusted."

Last year, Swedish artist Cobrah turned heads and picked up a nomination at the Swedish Grammys for her direction work on her debut video "IDFKA". Now, hoping to build on that impressive early success, Cobrah is back with a new electro pop single called "U Know Me" that's crammed full of imagination and riotous teenage rebellion. Described as a descendant of both the punk and voguing scenes, "U Know Me" is actually quite a bit more than that, with a bass-heavy production that would fit seamlessly into the playlists of any DJ in 2019. In fact, to suggest Cobrah is at least a little inspired by modern house music and even bassline wouldn't be that much of a stretch, even in amongst the vogue attitude and punk-like vocals.

Speaking with Complex via email, Cobrah told us: "It captures the naivety of being young on the run from reality, depending and completely relying on someone who can't be trusted."
