Machine Gun Kelly let it be known that he couldn't be happier for his friend's new relationship. On Tuesday night, Kelly told TMZ exactly how he feels about Pete Davidson's new girlfriend, actress Kate Beckinsale.
"I love that sh*t," Kelly said before explaining how it didn't take him long to know that she's a great fit for his friend.
"Yeah, I had to figure it out," Kelly said. "It took me like 15-seconds. She's rad."
Kelly isn't the first person to offer his thoughts on Hollywood's newest power couple. Comedian and Beckinsale's former-boyfriend, Matt Rife, recently told Davidson to protect himself by running away from the actress. While Davidson's ex, Ariana Grande, also chimed in, calling the couple "cute" on social media. But it's likely Kelly's stamp of approval that matters most to Davidson.
It has been known for some time that Davidson and Kelly are close friends. In fact, after the comedian sent out a troubling Instagram post, not only was Kelly one of the first people to reach out to him, but the rapper also boarded a flight to comfort his friend in person. For weeks following Davidson's scare, the two were seen together at various events, making it clear that Kelly was keeping Pete in good spirits.
