It's been an eventful week for Khalid and his fans.

Two days after releasing his D'Mile-produced single "My Bad," the 21-year-old artist made his first-ever appearance on Saturday Night Live. And, as expected, the debut was nothing short of solid.

Khalid took the stage to deliver a performance of "Talk" followed by "Better," from his 2018 EP Sun City. He teased the latter on Instagram earlier this week.

You can check out his performances in the videos below. This week's episode was hosted by Idris Elba.

The "Talk" cut is the first single from the Khalid's Free Spirit, the much-anticipated follow-up to his 2017 debut album American Teen. Khalid spoke about the forthcoming project, set to drop April 5, in a February interview on Zane Lowe's World Record show

"This album is the culmination of all of the growth and experiences I have gathered over the past two remarkable years," the Texas native said. "I have been in the studio pouring my soul and spirit to create a body of work that I hope speaks to each and every one of you."

The album will be supported by a short film of the same name. The Emil Nava-directed visual is scheduled to premiere April 3, and will star Khalid, Judah Lang, Dizzy Face, Edi Gathegi, Estefania Preciado, and Jahking Guillory.
