Since the release of HBO's Leaving Neverland documentary, many entertainers have chosen to speak out either against or for the legacy of Michael Jackson. Now, budding superstar Juice WRLD has offered his thoughts on the King of Pop.

"Rip to the legend Michael Jackson," the rapper tweeted on Sunday. "Let the legend rest and his legacy stand."

Juice WRLD's comments follow the reports that several organizations including the Los Angeles Lakers after allegations of child molestation against Jackson resurfaced. And although it is unclear why Juice WRLD felt the need to voice his feelings, it might be rooted in the connection his camp has made between himself and the iconic entertainer. In October 2018, G Herbo (who is credited with introducing Juice WRLD to the world) went on record stating that he feels Juice WRLD is the "new Michael Jackson."

"[Juice WRLD] is the new Michael Jackson," Herbo said in an Instagram story. "I don't give AF what nobody say!! You heard it here first."

Of course, this hot take sparked a discussion that has since died down, but with WRLD's recent comments it appears that he may feel a connection with Jackson.

Juice WRLD's tweet comes after the release of his newest album Death Race for Love, which is projected to move 140-165K album equivalent units in its first week and debut at No. 1 on the charts. On Monday he dropped the "Hear Me Calling" video, below:
