Being the underdog is a common theme in rap. The feeling of beating the odds in spite of the naysayers must be a rewarding one, but in the case of Prynce MINI it's more accurate than most. As both a producer and a rapper, chances are you've listened to and enjoyed his work without even realising it (his production on Nadia Rose's "Skwod" springs to mind) — and, understandably, he's beginning to get frustrated with that.

Now he's setting the record straight with his own banger called "T.O.P.". Naturally, it's produced by Prynce MINI himself (what else did you expect from a self-made artist?) and with it he's given himself a much darker rap sound than usual to play with. Through the brooding melody and punchy rhythms, the Peckham rapper flies through some of his finest punchlines yet (feeling a way, went to the doctors and got informed I got the greatest fever might be our new favourite way to say "I'm sick").

Take a listen below and hopefully this will be the tune to take him to the position he deserves.
