Having just concluded his tour across Asia, Dutch rapper Maydien is back with new single "Maytrix" and the promise of a new EP of the same name. As with a lot of his past releases, "Maytrix" sticks to that infusion of club electronics courtesy of producer Reuben Isaac and Maydien's low-slung flow, but sits at the more uptempo end of that spectrum.
Despite that quickened tempo, he still manages to pack in a lot of soul too, breaking things down for a West Coast-sounding interlude of futuristic synths and an even more chilled delivery.
