January has been a roller coaster for YNW Melly.

The up-and-coming rapper kicked off the New Year on an unfortunate note, when he was arrested on drug possession charges in Florida. And although he remains locked up in Lee County Jail, Melly refused to let his burgeoning fan base down as the 19-year-old rapper released his We All Shine project, just as he promised.

We All Shine spans 16 tracks, including a bonus cut titled “Butter Pecan.” The most anticipated record, however, is “Mixed Personalities” featuring Kanye West. Melly teased the collaboration back in 2018, when he shared a video of him and ‘Ye in the studio.

In addition to the project release, Melly came through with the official video for “Mixed Personalities,” directed by Chicago’s Cole Bennett, the man behind visuals like Blueface’s “Bleed It,” Future and Juice WRLD’s “No Issue,” and PnB Rock's "Heart Racin."

You can check out the “Mixed Personalities” video above, and stream We All Shine now on all major streaming services.

According to Melly’s Instagram page, the rapper is scheduled to kick off the We All Shine U.S. Tour later this month.
