Planet Giza—aka Rami B, Tony Stone and Dumix—released their latest project, the three-track ZZZ, back in May. For newcomers to the trio, ZZZ was a concise but well-rounded introduction to their combination of hip-hop, soul and funk, but we didn't hear much more from them for the rest of the year, at least in terms of releases. Now they're back with a new single called "Brk Frm Nrml" along with the announcement that they'll be releasing their next project, Added Sugar later in the year. There aren't too many details about the project just yet, but we're told the classic soul, funk and hip-hop vibes of "Brk Frm Nrml" are a pretty good indicator of what we can expect from Added Sugar when it drops.

Planet Giza explained to Complex via email: "'Brk Frm Nrml' is one of the first songs we made while working on the Added Sugar project. It set the tone for the direction we wanted to take sonically. Having Mick Jenkins on the record displaying lyrical prowess changed the whole dynamic of the song."

Mick Jenkins added: "'Brk Frm Nrml', was quite literally a refreshing vibe from what I was listening to at the time. It's closer to a soulful sound that I readily identify with so it was easy to hop on this joint floatin' with a good energy that matched the vibe."
