Even the most die-hard KTT poster has to get a bit tired of current-stage Kanye West from time to time. To be a Kanye fan over this last year has mostly consisted of a constant calculus, trying to determine the exact jumping off point where you can't waste any more energy defending the man. It's part of our job to keep up withe Ye, and he's made sure to make the last year feel like work. The folks over at Team BNE understood this, so they created a plugin that will give us all a Kanye rest.
The developers created an extension for Chrome that will block out all Kanye news for as long as you need to remind yourself how great the College Trilogy was.
"We can all agree that Kanye West is a musical genius. But in a time when our political climate is in disarray, his 'genius' (or however you’d like to call it) has become pretty exhausting," they explained in the caption of their launch video. "Downloading the free extension allows fans and ex-fans a chance to block out all Kanye-related news from entering their personal feeds for a day, a week, until Yandhi drops or however long they need."
"Until Yandhi drops" isn't just clever copy. The extension does give the option to call Kanye's bluff and check out until he finally drops his new album. The plugin is entirely free, but they are also selling Snoozye pins to benefit the ACLU. Check it all out here.
