The world of music isn't quite done with Jacquees' claims that he is the "king of R&B for this generation," but the 24-year-old artist is willing to back down on his stance somewhat, at least in the presence of Keith Sweat.

Backstage at V-103 Atlanta's Winterfest concert, Keith was approached by TMZ to give his thoughts on what Jacquees had to say about himself, but not before Jacquees jumped in.

“He the king from back then, but I’m the king for right now,” Jacquees said at the time. “This Keith Sweat, big Sweat, but it’s big Quee.” Thankfully, the two had a chance to clear things up properly when they joined Tank and Big Tigger for an interview. During said interview, Keith said there was miscommunication between himself and Jacquees. Apparently, Keith was asked about Jacquees' "king of R&B" comments to which Keith replied by saying that he didn't want to get in the middle of it all. Though he didn't want to get dragged into the debate, Sweat did say he was "the king of getting that bag." Jacquees heard Sweat say the word "king" and ran over to let him know he's "the king of R&B" of his generation. Watch the exchange, in which Jacquees apologizes to Sweat, up top.

Speaking with V-103 after the incident, Sweat said, "We all the kings of R&B." He added that he wasn't aware of the artists before him when he first started making music, explaining, "When we had this conversation, and I'ma just say it like this and keep it 100, I never heard Marvin Gaye, Luther VanDross, Teddy Pendergrass, or nobody talking about who was the king."

Tank added: "I think what people have missed is that now, the R&B conversation, because of this young fellow saying what he said, has gone international, intergalatical, and everybody is listening to see what R&B is getting ready to sound like. So now is a good time, whoever you are, if you feel like you’ve got that R&B in your system, and you want to get that off, now is a good time to be heard.”

Tank previously chimed in with a joke, but it seems he's good with Jacquees now that he's had a chance to speak with him directly.
