To celebrate Christmas this year, Eminem decided to recount his 12 favorite diss tracks of all time, alongside long-time manager Paul Rosenberg and DJ Whoo Kid. The Shade 45 Radio programming was appropriately titled the "12 Days of Diss-Mas." One of the more notable moments of Em's countdown was when he discussed the infamous 2Pac vs. Biggie beef in the mid '90s. More specifically, he touched on how Pac's "Hit 'Em Up" record changed rap beef forever.

"That, I feel like, was the first time I ever heard anybody get that personal on a diss. Most of it was personal, below-the-belt jabs, but it was done so well and the record was just so crazy," said Eminem. "The 2pac-Biggie thing was tough because you liked them both. You were stuck in this weird thing where you were bumpin' a 2Pac diss record, then you were bumpin' something from Biggie that might be dissing [2Pac] in it."

If the Detroit rap legend's glowing praise didn't give it away, "Hit 'Em Up" took the top spot on the "12 Days of Diss-Mas" countdown. Other notable entries included Ice Cube's "No Vaseline" and Dr. Dre's "Dre Day" just to name a few. While Eminem has had some memorable diss records of his own over the years, they were made ineligible for this particular list.

Slim Shady discussing diss records seems like a rather fitting way for him to end the year. This past September, he made YouTube history when his Machine Gun Kelly diss titled "Killshot" had the biggest hip-hop debut in the platform's history
