East London rapper Yxng Bane's career has risen above the clouds since remixing Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You" last year.

Armed with well-crafted, radio-friendly songs in "Vroom" and "Rihanna", Bane has propelled himself since—riding a wave of timely drops full of Afroswing greatness. While the release of joint project Any Minute Now with D-Block Europe was warmly received, Yxng Bane often opts to work singles for months at a time so a full-length project has been conspicuously absent from his inventory. Until now.

HBK arrives with a visual for lead single "Needed Time" and a short film called The Prequel. Detailing "a day in the life of five young men from Canning Town in London", the 20-minute clip adds strong layers of context to the 14-track mixtape, with snippets spliced within the back and forth action and things ending on a sudden twist. The last quarter usually brings out the big hitters, and Yxng Bane is certainly swinging for the fences to close out the year.
