Born and raised on the Caribbean island of Curaçao, rapper Gianni Mae had already embarked on her own musical journey before she crossed paths with popular Berlin producers Broke Boys. But since connecting with them and refining her own sound with influence from their trap sound (which they helped introduce to German hip-hop), she now has an EP in the pipeline. The first single from the project is entitled "They Say", and the accompanying video is being shared today. Shot in and around Berlin, here we see Gianna Mae providing all the attitude and energy of the Trap Queen she is trying to become.
