Halsey got a Lil Wayne-designed tattoo just moments before performing with him on Saturday Night Live

The singer shared the fresh ink to her Instagram, thanking the rapper for drawing out the image for her.

"'On my Libra scale I’m weighin sins and forgiveness.' Got this yatted by @jonboytattoo seconds before walking onstage," she explained in the caption. "Thanks for writing this one out for me."

The "Libra scale" line is from Tha Carter IV's "She Will." Halsey was all of 17 when that album made its way into the world, but during the interminable wait for Tha Carter V, she managed to make herself a global pop star with the clout to appear on a Lil Wayne album. That's how she ended up performing her Weezy collab "Can't Be Broken" alongside her fellow Libra.

Wayne stayed busy during his stop at 30 Rock. Outside of performing two songs (he also showed off the Swizz Beatz collab "Uproar") and designing a tattoo, he also starred in a skit with Future. As part of The Booty Kings, Wayne and Future rapped about seeking consent and politely chasing women in the club. Wayne was sure to add a few bars about wearing protection to the ladies-first anthem.
