Chief Keef will avoid jail time in his most-recent DUI arrest.

The rapper pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge rather than face a felony DUI. The plea deal will give the rapper six months probation and require him to perform 50 hours of community service, according to TMZ

When Keef was pulled over in Miami last year, he tested positive for eight different drugs. The publication reports that Keef had Morphine, Codeine, Promethazine, THC, Hydrocodone, Norcodeine, Dihydrocodeine, and Hydromorphone in his system at the time of his arrest. A stipulation of his six months of probation requires that Keef avoid heavy drug use.

It's been a relatively quiet year for Keef on the legal front, with the rapper releasing a string of projects and collaborations. Barring the occasional beef with rapper 6ix9ine, Keef has stuck to the music with releases like Back From The Dead 3. Keef recently performed with an orchestra as part of Audiomack's always excellent series linking classically trained musicians with rappers.

He has stepped outside of his work a few times to take on President Donald Trump. He shared photoshopped images of himself marching alongside Martin Luther King, Jr. with a "Fuck Trump" sign in the background and says that the Secret Service came to visit him. He also spoke out on another famous Chicagoan's mysterious connection to the POTUS.

"I am not a fan of Trump," he said. "I don’t understand that connection, but Kanye does what he wants."
