Netflix has announced its foray into music competition series with next year's Rhythm + Flow, which counts John Legend and Jesse Collins among its roster of producers.

Cardi B, T.I., and Chance the Rapper will lead the inaugural season of the hip-hop-centric series as its three "main judges." Additional artists and other industry leaders, in various roles, will be announced soon. According to a press release shared Tuesday, the series will take place across multiple cities and is aiming for a fall 2019 release. The first season will consist of 10 one-hour episodes.

Rhythm + Flow is described by the streaming platform as the documented "search for the next breakout hip-hop star." In their own report on the new Netflix project, Deadlinenoted that Atlanta, Chicago, and New York are among the confirmed shooting cities thus far. For each season 1 stop, guest judges from those respective cities will contribute to the proceedings. Hopefully, over the course of these first 10 episodes, this means we'll be getting at least one Gucci Mane appearance.

For those interested in auditioning, a website has already been set up for exactly that purpose. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. For more info, you know what to do.
