¡Mayday! decided to make a move towards the islands for their latest album South of 5th, and it's paid off.

The veteran rap group, signed to Tech N9ne's Strange Music, gave their fifith album a heavy reggae influence. Fans responded, moving the record to the top of the Billboard Reggae Chart. Now, just as the crew is about to begin the second leg of their South of 5th Tour (dates are here), they're dropping a video for one of the project's highlights, the Tech collaboration "Run Up." The group learned a ton by working with their label co-founder.

"Working with Tech on this video and ANY video for that matter is always amazing," the group told Complex. "He comes over prepared, and always adds an element of surprise to the shoots. Being around him in these type of situations is a masterclass."

The clip features young kids robbing different people in their neighborhood, and the sometimes dire consequences that can result. It features verses from both ¡Mayday! MCs, Bernz and Wrekonize, as well as Tech.

¡Mayday! continues its South of 5th tour through Nov. 18. You can check out the "Run Up" video above.
