Adam22 to Vic Mensa After XXXTentacion Won at AMAs: ‘What the F*ck Is Wrong With You?’

Vic Mensa reportedly dissed XXXTentacion after he won at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Now, after X won again at the American Music Awards, Adam22 has more to say.

Vic Mensa opened up a can of worms when he allegedly dissed controversial rapper XXXTentacion, who was murdered in Florida earlier this year, in his BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher, which is due to air Oct. 16.

DJ Scheme revealed the verse played during the taping of the award show in a series of tweets, and Vic didn't deny what he said, either, explaining, "I vehemently reject the trend in hip-hop of championing abusers, and I will not hold my tongue about it."

Now, controversial podcaster Adam22 of No Jumper fame has entered the conversation.

In a post on his Instagram, Adam said, "I can't believe I just gotta say it one more time. Vic Mensa, what the fuck is wrong with you for insulting our boy in front of his beautiful mother? That is is the craziest shit ever. You're never gonna win an award. Your music will never mean anything to anybody on the level that X's did. You can never even get to one percent of what he accomplished in his life."

Vic did say that he wasn't aware X's mother was in the audience, and that he offers her his "deepest condolences."

Before his career started to take off during his lifetime, X was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, witness tampering, and aggravated battery of his then pregnant girlfriend. The full report of the allegations X faced can be read here via Pitchfork.

Adam22, meanwhile, has been accused of sexual assault and other misconduct by numerous women. Two women spoke with Pitchfork about their experiences, with both of them claiming he had raped them.

"I just wanna remind the world that you're a piece of shit," Adam said to Vic in the video, which can be seen above.

Adam isn't the only one attacking Vic for his comments, with former X collaborator Trippie Redd telling Vic to "pull up." As mentioned by XXL, Kid Trunks, a member of X's Members Only collective, started a "Fuck Vic Mensa" chant at Denzel Curry's show in New York last night.
