We’re nearly one week removed from the death of Mac Miller, and people are still trying to process the tragic loss. Earlier today, Vince Staples found himself in a contemplative mood on Twitter as he openly thought about his friend Mac.

This is in reference to Stolen Youth, the mixtape that they did together in 2013 where Mac took on his production pseudonym Larry Fisherman. Lyrics from the song "Heaven" were previously used in an Instagram post by Vince to remember Miller.
“I must’ve died and went to heaven...currently in shock it’ll hit me in a second. What’s your question? You need a blessing right? Or you just wondering what heavens like.” I’ll see you soon. Thank you for everything... for all of this. I love you.

Known for not being afraid to speak his mind and willing to discuss any and all topics, Vince has admittedly found himself at a loss of words when it comes to Mac. He still wanted to acknowledge the people who have sent their condolences his way in light of his friend’s death.
I don’t really know what say about the whole situation but I appreciate everybody sending their condolences.— Vince Staples (@vincestaples) September 13, 2018
