The new album drops January next year, but hopefully there'll be a couple more drops before then.

Having worked with the likes of Capleton and Cutty Ranks, it's somewhat surprising that Chase & Status are only now working with General Levy. Together, they've created "Heater", a breaks-heavy jungle banger that puts the legendary MC's iconic vocals to perfect use (you might've been lucky enough to catch them perform it together at this year's Notting Hill Carnival). The new track isn't the only bit of new music coming from Chase & Status, either. Earlier this year, the boys headed out to Jamaica to record what would end up being their fifth album RTRN II Jungle by producing a batch of '90s-style dancehall tracks and then sampling them for an album of jungle. The new album drops January next year, but hopefully there'll be a couple more drops before then.
