XXXTentacion's Mother Announces His Unborn Child Is a Boy

Cleopatra Bernard, the mother of the late XXXTentacion, previously announced X's "final gift" days after he was fatally shot. Now, she has confirmed that her late son's child is a boy.

Cleopatra Bernard, the mother of the late XXXTentacion, has revealed that the previously revealed "final gift" is a baby boy.

In an Instagram photo Wednesday showing the mother's stomach, Bernard informed fans "It's a boy!" No additional information, including a due date, has been released by the family. A rep, however, has confirmed to Complex that the baby bump shown in the photo is X's unborn child.

In June, just days after XXXTentacion was fatally shot outside a motorcycle dealership, Bernard posted a photo of an ultrasound.

X was shot and killed June 18 outside a Deerfield Beach-area dealership. Within two hours, he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, Robert Allen, and Michael Boatwright have since been arrested and indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges including first-degree murder. They have all entered non-guilty pleas.

Allen, according to a TMZ report, has "begged" the judge to give him a bail release so he could be with his pregnant fiancée and continue working for a lawn care company in Broward County. Earlier this month, the State of Florida requested DNA swabs from all four suspects.

Over the weekend, Makonnen teased that a new song featuring both XXXTentacion and Lil Peep was on the way. However, news of the track has been met with a divided response among Peep's fans and previous collaborators.

Lol no it’s not

XXXTentacion's debut studio album 17 will also get a proper physical release this Saturday, on the project's one-year anniversary.

At the time of his death, XXXTentacion was awaiting trial on a variety of charges including witness tampering and the alleged abuse of a pregnant woman. The charges, due to his death, have since been formally dropped.
