Tommy Newport continues his introductory run with a new video for his track "Violet Days," the follow up to "I Forgive You." We've all experienced the feeling of wanting to leave our past behind—although its often easier said than done—and that's exactly what the track and it's trippy, nostalgic video tackle.
The visual was shot in Tommy's hometown of Kansas, and deals with the young singer-songwriter leaving a relationship behind. You'll have to watch the video to see how things pan out, but let's just say that his lover doesn't exactly let him go without putting up a fight. The video was directed by Tommy's band member and best friend Parker Hanna.
